The sun is shining and summer is finally here. My favorite season of all is upon us and I want to make the most of it this year. I’ve been asked about traveling for sessions this year more than years past and with my kids getting a little older (out of the infant stage), I’ve thought this year could be a great year to start exploring our beautiful country, take some beautiful photos, and make some friends along the way.

As of right now, tentative travel plans are as follows:
Seattle, WA – Early August 2011
B.C. Canada – Early September 2011
San Diego, CA – Fall 2011
**If you live near one of these cities and would like to inquire about a session, please contact me and I’ll fill you in on the details**
***If you would like to talk about doing a session near your city, please contact me. If I get enough interest, I’d be happy to look into making a trip.***

Love Story- Kipp and Kenna

"Ashley, trust me, this will work" I said as she laughed at me and shook her head in disbelief. I knew it would. We spent 3 hours that night filling out an eHarmony profile and I just had a hunch, a feeling, that something good would come out of this. It started out as a fun and silly adventure, over the next few days we texted back and forth "any hot boys yet? Any promising matches?" All fun and games until a couple weeks in I get a text from Ashley "so I am meeting up with a guy from eHarmony..." I screamed standing in my kitchen "wwhhhhhat?!!" I couldn't believe it was actually working and I assumed that this would be the first of many casual fun dates that she would go on. I couldn't have been more wrong. Ashley and Rich's connection from the very first time they met was what she described as "nothing I've ever felt before." Over the next few weeks their relationship grew and pretty soon she was telling me "Meg, I think he might be the one." Wow, had my push for the online dating game really worked? Hadn't I had a hunch? I didn't expect it to work this fast. Love has a funny way of showing up at the most unexpected of times.
All in all my hunch was right, Ashley met her prince. I couldn't be happier for her and the love and best friend she has found in Richard. He is the most caring and genuine guy and our family has welcomed him with open arms. They are perfect match and their love and passion for another is contagious. They are now engaged to be married and their forever starts now. Congratulations to my beautiful and wonderful sister-in-law. I hate using the "in-law" formality as she is truly like a blood sister and cherished friend.

The minute I met up with Carmen and Allen, I knew this session was going to be magical. They were giddy with excitement and their love for one another was radiating through their body language, the way they looked at each other, and even their laughs. Capturing their love story was such an honor. I love doing these sessions because it makes me walk away believing in fairytales and prince charmings even more than I did before.

I adore documenting the love that two people posses for one another. It's amazing how a story can be told without using any words at all. That's what I strive to do in each session I photograph; tell a story using only images. Love sessions are some of my favorites for story telling. I hope this session leaves you feeling like you were allowed a intimate glimpse into this couple's love for one another.

the one where she has her legs along his back is very creative! I've never seen one like that before.
